We booked an apartment that included two bedrooms and allowed us to enjoy leisurely mornings on the balcony, albeit with some traffic noise from the picturesque park view. The eclectic decor, an intriguing mix of vintage vibes with a gramophone and modern amenities like air conditioning and a cozy living room, created a warm atmosphere perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Breakfast was a good spread featuring both continental and American options, which we savored while planning out our day's adventures. The hotel also boasted a lovely indoor pool, where we enjoyed a refreshing dip, admiring the hotel's eco-friendly practices-a value I deeply appreciate as a marine biologist. Hotel Perla Oltului was a splendid choice for a holiday getaway, blending traditional charm with modern touches, making it a fantastic retreat in the heart of Romania.
